Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS) have been used in civilian law enforcement and public safety agencies for over 45 years. With the advent of the use of many different types of surveillance sensors as force multipliers in detecting threats, especially in the realm of protecting critical infrastructure and human assets, it has been our passion for the past 12 years to work with agencies to integrate these disparate surveillance systems and CAD/RMS/PSIM systems into one cohesive common platform for detection, deterrence, response and recovery.
This common platform can be used by security operations and public safety operations autonomously on a daily basis but when emergencies occur all events and associated resources can then be managed from within one platform sharing those vital sources of information that will help first responders better mitigate harm to humans and damage to property.
Brizo addresses this need through an all-inclusive architecture design that is component based and utilizes a Geographical Information System (GIS) backbone to connect high-end sensor technologies and corresponding Incident Management/Resource Allocation Software Systems to provide customers an end-to-end solution based on agency priority response and workflow logic. This design is modified for each customer to support their ability to:
- Optimally manage events and resources
- Disseminate real-time pertinent information to the field via mobile devices
- Support real-time allocation of the appropriate resources based on location and event
- Capture and manage subsequent incident reporting and digital assets
- Create a complete history of an event from one finely tuned, integrated source
